Overview Of The Role:

The Sales Assistant plays a key role in generating sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences within the market hall area. This position supports operational duties as assigned by the shopkeeper, including arranging products and maintaining the sales floor. Success in this role is measured by meeting sales targets, delivering excellent customer service, and adhering to IKEA standards and policies. The Sales Assistant works collaboratively with peers and management, contributing to a positive team environment and store atmosphere.

What You Will Do:

• Generate sales and deliver a positive customer experience in the market hall area.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales targets to contribute to the store’s objectives.
• Create a positive first impression for customers through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile.
• Provide customers with current relevant information about products and services.
• Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Participate in all market hall inventories to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Assume and complete other duties as assigned by the shopkeeper.
• Attend and participate in all store meetings and related functions.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Follow IKEA policies and procedures 100%, ensuring compliance with company standards.
