Research Assistant – Clinical Research (UAE National) – Black Pearl Consult
Black Pearl Consult is looking for a UAE National Research Assistant (Clinical Research) in Dubai, UAE. This opportunity is ideal for someone interested in clinical research, patient interaction, and supporting research activities through effective coordination and accurate data management.You will work alongside clinical investigators and research colleagues, helping coordinate participants, manage study records, and keep day-to-day research activities on track.
What you’ll do
Help identify suitable study participants by reviewing eligibility against study-specific requirements.
Guide participants through study information and support the informed consent process in line with approved procedures and assigned responsibilities.
Coordinate participant appointments, follow-up visits, and communication with clinical teams.
Collect and enter research information into electronic study databases, checking for missing details and inconsistencies.
Maintain organized participant files, consent records, and essential study documentation.
Support the preparation and tracking of ethics submissions, study updates, and approval records.
Keep the research team informed about recruitment progress, participant follow-ups, and issues requiring attention.
Help prepare study files for quality reviews, audits, and inspections.
RequirementsWhat we’re looking for:
A bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Biology, Psychology, or a related discipline.
At least one year of experience in clinical research or a relevant field.
Practical exposure to patient interaction, participant screening, or study recruitment.
Experience collecting research data, maintaining records, and working with electronic databases.
An understanding of research ethics, participant confidentiality, and the importance of following study procedures.
Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple follow-ups.
Experience as a Clinical Research Assistant, Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Nurse, or Research Assistant supporting patient-based studies would be particularly relevant.
