Project Controller — Multinational | Dubai, UAE – Emagine Solutions FZE
A leading multinational organisation is hiring a Project Controller to strengthen project financial control and reporting across major programmes in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone with a strong project controls / cost engineering / quantity surveying background who can manage cost, cash flow, forecasting, and commercial reporting in complex, delivery-led environments.
Key responsibilities
- Own project cost control across the full lifecycle: budgets, commitments, actuals, and cost-to-complete
- Prepare and maintain revenue forecasts, cash flow forecasts, and monthly cost reports
- Lead progress measurement and performance reporting, including earned value where applicable
- Support project planning and schedule integration (Primavera P6 / similar), including baseline and re-baseline activities
- Manage monthly progress payment applications/invoices and support client-facing commercial reporting
- Track variations/claims/change orders: build-up of rates, VO submissions, negotiation support, and documentation control
- Monitor subcontractor commitments, payment approvals, and commercial compliance
- Produce weekly/monthly dashboards for project leadership highlighting risks, trends, and corrective actions
- Support tendering/bid inputs where required (estimates, take-offs, pricing support)
Desired profile
- Strong experience in project controls, cost engineering, or quantity surveying on large-scale projects
- Proven capability producing cost-to-complete, cash flow, and forecast reporting with high accuracy
- Strong understanding of contract/commercial processes: variations, claims, progress payments, and change control
- Confident working with planning teams and schedules (Primavera P6 exposure preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate financial/project performance clearly to senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with ERP/project controls systems
- Experience in construction, marine/civil, infrastructure, or industrial projects is highly preferred
- Dubai-based or open to relocation to Dubai
