Optometrist/Assistant Branch Manager – EssilorLuxottica Chalhoub

As an Optometrist / Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance and daily operations of the branch while providing professional eye examinations and expert optical advice. You will lead and develop the store team, deliver an exceptional customer experience, achieve sales and profitability targets, and ensure compliance with all professional, operational, safety, and brand standards.

The role requires a strong combination of clinical expertise, commercial awareness, leadership capability, and customer service excellence. As an Arabic speaker, you will support effective communication with Arabic-speaking customers and strengthen relationships within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations, sales performance, and store KPIs.
• Conduct eye examinations and provide professional optical advice.
• Recommend suitable frames, lenses, contact lenses, and coatings.
• Ensure compliance with local optometry regulations and maintain accurate records.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure appropriate floor coverage.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development.
• Build strong customer relationships, including with Arabic-speaking customers.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure effective resolution.
• Maintain visual merchandising, stock accuracy, and operational standards.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and store reporting.
• Act as a brand ambassador and ensure a premium customer experience.
