MMA Coach – Certified Group Exercise Instructor – Black Pearl Consult

Black Pearl is recruiting an energetic and qualified MMA Coach for a premium sports, fitness and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi.The successful candidate will deliver safe, motivational and high-energy MMA group classes while supporting member engagement, programme growth and customer retention.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and deliver safe, structured and energetic MMA group classes.Provide clear instruction, practical demonstrations and appropriate technique correction.Adapt classes to accommodate participants with different fitness and experience levels.Maintain a positive, inclusive and highly motivational training environment.Support participants in improving their technique, conditioning, discipline and confidence.Deliver at least four group classes per working day, according to the approved schedule.Support the growth of MMA class participation and overall programme engagement.Build professional relationships with members and encourage continued participation.Engage with members throughout the facility to improve customer satisfaction.Assist the MMA Master Trainer and Fitness Management with programme development.Help organise and deliver at least one member event each month to support retention and membership acquisition.Promote approved MMA classes, fitness activities, events and campaigns.Inspect the MMA studio and equipment before classes.Ensure that training areas remain clean, safe and properly organised.Report damaged equipment, incidents and potential safety risks immediately.Comply with all health and safety, risk-management and operational procedures.RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:High school certificate or equivalent.Internationally recognised Group Exercise Instructor certification or a similar relevant qualification.At least one year of experience as a Group Exercise Instructor, MMA Coach or similar.Practical knowledge of MMA, combat-sports training and safe group-class delivery.Ability to instruct and motivate participants with different ability levels.Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to participant safety and technical detail.Physically capable of safely demonstrating the required exercises and movements.Professional, reliable, punctual and team-oriented.PREFERREDRecognised MMA, martial arts or combat-sports coaching certification.First Aid and CPR certification.Previous experience working in a commercial fitness club, martial arts academy, combat-sports centre or premium wellness facility.Experience supporting member events and programme promotions.HOW TO APPLYApplications are being managed by Black Pearl.Apply through www.blackpearlconsult.com or email your updated CV to info@blackpearlconsult.com using the subject line:Application – MMA Coach – Abu DhabiPlease include details of your coaching certifications, MMA disciplines, competition background where applicable and the types of classes you have delivered.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
