Fitness Manager – UAE REPs Level 3a Required (Commercial Fitness / Health Club / Wellness) – Black Pearl Consult

Black Pearl is recruiting an experienced, commercially focused Fitness Manager to lead the Fitness Department of a premium sports and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi.The successful candidate will be accountable for team leadership, Personal Training performance, member experience, operational standards and the department’s commercial success.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead the strategic, operational and commercial performance of the Fitness Department.Manage Personal Training revenue, penetration, session delivery, consultations, complimentary starter sessions, referrals, retention and secondary-spend KPIs.Develop annual and monthly business plans, forecasts, performance targets and action plans.Recruit, onboard, coach, mentor and retain qualified fitness professionals.Build a high-performing culture based on accountability, professionalism and continuous development.Conduct structured one-to-one meetings, coaching observations, probation reviews and performance reviews.Improve trainer performance in member engagement, lead generation, consultations, programme design, referrals, renewals and client retention.Coach trainers on consultative selling, objection handling, sales confidence and client conversion.Plan and deliver in-club training, practical coaching workshops and professional-development sessions.Ensure consistently high standards of exercise prescription, programme design and coaching.Prepare departmental budgets, forecasts, commercial reports and resource plans.Analyse performance data and identify trends, risks and growth opportunities.Maintain premium gym-floor presentation, cleanliness, equipment and operational standards.Ensure compliance with health and safety, risk-management and operating procedures.Work closely with Membership Sales, Reception, Marketing, Member Experience and Club Operations.Support fitness challenges, member events, corporate-wellness programmes, marketing campaigns and community activities.Resolve member concerns professionally and implement service improvements.Lead by example through coaching quality, commercial discipline, communication and personal conduct.RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:Minimum UK Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, or recognised international equivalent.Current UAE REPs registration at Level 3a Full, with the ability to maintain registration throughout employment.Valid First Aid and CPR certification.At least five years of experience in a commercial fitness environment.At least two years of experience leading, managing or mentoring fitness professionals.Proven success in achieving Personal Training revenue, penetration and other commercial fitness KPIs.Experience recruiting, developing and performance-managing fitness professionals.Experience preparing departmental budgets, forecasts and commercial reports.Strong knowledge of exercise prescription, programme design and coaching methodologies.Commitment to achieving at least 12 recognised CPD points annually.PREFERRED INDUSTRY BACKGROUNDCandidates should ideally have experience within:Commercial fitness clubsPremium health clubsPersonal Training businessesWellness centresLeisure or lifestyle facilitiesHigh-end hospitality fitness operationsHOW TO APPLYApplications are being handled by Black Pearl.Apply through www.blackpearlconsult.com or email info@blackpearlconsult.com with the subject line:Application – Fitness Manager – Abu DhabiOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
