Maintenance Supervisor
Type – Full-Time
Work Location – Dubai
Salary – AED 7,500 per month
Mandatory Details/Skills
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of all production equipment.
- Plan daily maintenance schedules, assign tasks, and monitor work completion.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and workplace safety.
- Hands-on experience working with lathe machines, drilling machines, and other workshop equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for production machinery, including presses, lining machines, and printing units.
- Ensure timely corrective and breakdown maintenance to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and service documentation.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of metal cap manufacturing equipment, including stamping presses, curling machines, and lining machines.
- Coordinate the installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensure proper lubrication, calibration, alignment, and servicing of production machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment faults.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
- Enforce company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies within the maintenance department.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industrial safety standards.
- Coordinate with Production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on manufacturing operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
- Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, equipment performance metrics, and maintenance history records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.
Key Skills Required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in metal cap manufacturing, can manufacturing, or metal packaging industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience with lathe machines, drilling machines, and industrial production equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning, documentation, and reporting.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and maintenance reporting systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
