Logistics Officer – HIMALAYA STEEL TRADING FZE
Himalaya Steel is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have up to 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations, with strong coordination and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor local and international shipments.
- Arrange transportation and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport companies, and customers.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs and import/export regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records.
- Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams for order fulfillment.
- Resolve delivery issues and logistics-related problems efficiently.
- Negotiate transportation rates and optimize logistics costs.
- Prepare logistics reports and maintain proper documentation.
