L3 IT Systems Engineer – Staff Connect IT Consultants
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Systems & Support Engineer to support the firm’s day-to-day technology operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for providing technical support to users, managing Microsoft 365 and cloud services, maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting legal and business applications, and contributing to the firm’s security, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers, business services teams, and technology vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking, printing, and mobile devices.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain user devices and endpoint security solutions.
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding, access permissions, and software licensing.
• Support iManage Cloud, legal applications, and other business-critical systems.
• Monitor system performance, backups, security alerts, and service availability.
• Troubleshoot network, VPN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
• Work with vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate upgrades.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Assist with technology projects, automation initiatives, AI solutions, and continuous service improvements.
