Heavy Vehicle Driver

We are hiring experienced Heavy Truck Drivers.

1. Drive heavy trucks within the UAE.

2. Deliver goods to clients.

3. Manage loading and unloading of goods.

4. Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.

5. Follow all laws and regulations regarding size, weight, route designations, and parking.

6. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouses and customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while delivering goods to various locations efficiently.
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any maintenance issues, ensuring that all equipment is in safe working condition before hitting the road.
3. Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation of driving hours and deliveries, adhering to legal requirements and company standards for record-keeping.
4. Plan and follow efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption, utilizing GPS and mapping tools to navigate effectively.
5. Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries, address any issues that arise, and ensure timely service to customers.
6. Load and unload cargo safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage to goods and ensure safety during the process.
7. Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve driving skills and stay updated on industry best practices and regulations.
8. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
9. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, promoting safe driving practices and contributing to a culture of safety within the organization.
