Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join a leading Multinational organization in the engineering and marine sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments across multiple entities and regions.

This role requires strong experience in accounting systems, preferably SAP, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, verification, coding, and posting.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments in accordance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure proper invoice approvals.
• Handle month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Manage multi-region or multi-entity payables, ensuring consistency and compliance across jurisdictions (advantage).
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding payables.
