Sr. Mechanical Engineer – RTC1 Recruitment Services
Job Description:
Leads the design, installation, and commissioning of all mechanical systems on a project, ensuring technical specifications, budget and schedule are met as per requirements. This involves acting as a technical expert, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with other disciplines throughout the project cycle.
Serves as the authority for all mechanical aspects of a project, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and other specialized systems. This involves reviewing and approving technical submittals, calculations, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.
Conducts regular on-site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure they adhere to contract documents, specifications, and quality standards. This includes issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for violations and helping to resolve quality issues.
Provides critical input on project planning, budgeting, and scheduling for mechanical works. The role also involves managing the mechanical scope, evaluating contractor proposals, and assisting with claims.
