Operational Duties

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies that align with the Free Zones Authority’s overall marketing and business goals.
- Plan and create a content calendar that includes promotional, informational, and engaging posts for all social media channels.
- Identify key trends, hashtags, and topics to ensure the Free Zone’s content is relevant and timely.
- Develop engaging and creative content (text, images, video, infographics) tailored for various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Work with design teams to create visuals, graphics, and videos that reflect the Free Zones Authority’s brand identity and mission.
- Curate relevant industry news, events, and updates to share with the audience, ensuring consistent content flow.
- Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage direct messages to build a strong online community.
- Monitor and participate in relevant industry conversations to increase brand visibility.
- Manage online reputation by responding to feedback and addressing any questions or concerns raised by followers.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to promote the Free Zones Authority’s services, events, and initiatives.
- Work with the marketing team to set up targeted advertising on platforms like LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads.
- Track the performance of paid campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
- Regularly analyze social media performance metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic, etc.) using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.
- Prepare monthly reports on social media performance, trends, and insights to present to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes to strategies based on data insights.
- Monitor competitors’ social media activity and industry trends to stay informed of emerging trends and best practices.
- Track mentions of the Free Zones Authority’s across social media and other online platforms to ensure brand consistency and address potential issues.
- Work closely with the marketing, public relations, and sales teams to ensure that social media campaigns align with broader marketing efforts.
- Support event promotions, announcements, and internal communications with social media content and updates.
- Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with product launches, events, holidays, and key milestones within the Free Zones Authority.
- Ensure consistent posting schedules and content diversity to maintain audience engagement.
- In case of any public relations crisis or negative feedback, work with the PR and communications team to manage responses and mitigate damage to the Free Zones Authority’s reputation on social media.
