Senior Finance Executive
Purpose of the Role
The company is a consultancy company specialised in Aviation services, who takes care of financial aspects related to the aircraft services. Our clients rely on our expertise and compliance when it comes to service performance, monitoring and costs saving.
The company already has an external accountant firm, handling the bookkeeping and financial declarations. The need for this role is in monitoring of the aircraft performed services, assurance of the accuracy and integrity of financial data, managing & controlling all aspects of costs related to company’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting the quarterly bookkeeping workings from the accounting firm, checking for accuracy and integrate it the company database;
- Checking our suppliers workings, reports and invoices / based on supporting documents and contracts;
- Ensure proper documentation of all transactions;
- Issuing sales invoices;
- Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and trial balance;
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow);
- Check VAT and corporate tax filings in line with UAE regulations, done by the accounting firm;
- Contact point in charge of the communication with DMCC
