Sales Supervisor – Mezzan Holding Company
To develop profitable new business, grow the existing customer base, and execute business development plans within the assigned geographical area through effective supervision, coaching, and support of the sales team. The role is responsible for driving sales and collection targets, managing distribution, improving route productivity, and ensuring effective execution of sales and brand activation activities.
Tactical
– Support the execution of sales strategies and business development plans within the assigned territory.
– Contribute to achieving territory growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of the existing customer base.
– Support launch plans for new products within assigned channels and outlets.
– Monitor market developments and customer trends to support business growth opportunities.
– Assist in implementing promotional and brand activation initiatives within the market.
Operational (Core)
– Set and monitor weekly and monthly sales targets for all SKUs within the assigned territory.
– Ensure team achievement of sales and collection targets.
– Oversee route operations to ensure efficient market coverage and productivity.
– Ensure adherence to company pricing, distribution, and merchandising policies.
– Support execution of core work including delivery, merchandising, POSM placement, and backroom management.
– Lead resolution of customer service, operational, and logistics issues within the territory.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular market visits and business reviews.
– Track and report collections versus assigned targets.
– Monitor and control display agreement costs and route-related expenses within approved budgets.
Operational (General)
– Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and territory performance reports.
– Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer visits, collections, and market feedback.
– Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.
– Support special projects, promotions, and other commercial activities as assigned.
– Assist in budget tracking, reconciliation, and outlet-level allocation monitoring.
People Management
– Supervise, guide, and support Store Development Marketers / Merchandisers and field team members.
– Set SMART objectives and communicate performance expectations clearly to team members.
– Conduct regular coaching, route ride shadowing, and on-the-job training sessions.
– Review team performance regularly and take corrective action where required.
– Conduct performance development reviews (PDRs) for direct reports as per company timelines.
– Provide recognition, motivation, and developmental feedback to enhance team performance.
– Support development of individual team members through structured development plans.
