Regional Development Manager (Automotive) – OEM Experienced – Connecting Minds HR Services
Our client, a leading international two-wheeler OEM, is seeking a Regional Business Head – MEA to spearhead its operations across the Middle East & Africa. The role is based in Dubai and will be responsible for driving business growth, managing distributors and dealers, and building a strong market presence for the brand in both traditional and electric two-wheeler segments.
Role Overview:
- Achieve targeted sales volume, market share, and profitability across the region.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by strengthening the service network and ensuring parts availability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and craft individual development plans to foster a highly engaged and motivated internal team.
- Select and onboard distributors based on company standards, promoting a collaborative “shared destiny” mindset.
- Define and execute the region’s product, distribution, and marketing strategies to meet objectives.
- Utilize market insights—including local regulations, tariffs, exchange rates, homologation norms, regional economic communities, competitive landscape, and product shortcomings—to drive business results.
- Maintain a balance between company profitability goals and sustainable distributor margins.
- Develop and deliver sales training programs to build competencies across the team and network.
- Coordinate with marketing and product management teams on new product development and improvements.
- Collaborate with distributor teams to create and implement a comprehensive marketing calendar.
- Boost Distributor Satisfaction Scores by resolving issues related to delivery, quality, pricing, promotional support, training effectiveness, and reconciliation processes.
