Quality Assurance Engineer – TASC Outsourcing
About the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test plans ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in both manual and automated testing, strong expertise in Selenium, and a solid understanding of QA methodologies within agile environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other automation tools
Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional requirements and technical specifications
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify, report, and resolve defects
Create and maintain detailed test plans, test suites, and test data
Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability and quality
Monitor and report on test progress, coverage, and quality metrics
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
2-7 years of experience in software quality assurance
Strong experience with test automation frameworks, ideally Selenium
Proficiency in manual testing techniques and QA methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing)
Hands-on experience with software testing tools and bug tracking systems such as JIRA or TestRail
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter
Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
