Summary / Overview:

A HNW family is seeking a well-educated, experienced and dedicated individual to act as a part-time Private Tutor and Child Development Manager for their daughters (5–6 years old).

We are seeking an exceptional and dedicated education professional for a unique part-time role supporting the holistic development of our twin daughters. Based in our Dubai home, you will join a professionally structured household and partner with our full-time nanny to manage the children’s entire after-school ecosystem and education.

This is a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of a private educator, a project manager for learning, and an administrative hub for all developmental activities. You will be empowered to design and implement a structured, engaging, and supportive after-school environment. Your mission is to cultivate not just academic success, but also strong executive functions, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, and a genuine love of learning.

This position is ideal for a seasoned educator, child development specialist, or a well-experienced counsellor seeking a meaningful, long-term role with a healthy work-life balance.

Core Responsibilities:

Academic & Executive Function Mentorship

  1. Lead and mentor daily academic routines, including homework, reading, and classwork review, using engaging, age-appropriate pedagogical methods.
  2. Serve as the project manager for all school assignments; deconstruct larger projects into manageable steps, develop clear timelines, and coach the children in time management and creative problem-solving.
  3. Design and implement bespoke after-school learning programs focused on extending school learning and filling in gaps.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:

  1. Act as the central point of contact for all external stakeholders, including teachers, school administrators, tutors, coaches, and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless alignment.
  2. Proactively monitor school portals for assignments, communications, and deadlines; manage all necessary follow-ups and flag any concerns or opportunities to the parents.
  3. Provide concise, professional daily and weekly progress reports to parents, summarising academic achievements, upcoming deadlines, developmental observations, and administrative updates.

Holistic Development & Wellbeing:

  1. Systematically track the children’s growth and developmental milestones, providing parents with sensitive and insightful observations.
  2. Manage the children’s health and wellness administration, including maintaining comprehensive medical records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring all school health files are current.
  3. Champion a positive, supportive environment that fosters social-emotional growth, curiosity, and resilience, consistently upholding positive discipline practices.

Operations & Logistics Management

  1. • Take full ownership of the after-school routine, creating a predictable and productive rhythm for snacks, academics, creative play, and next-day preparation.
  2. • Manage the shared family calendar for all child-related appointments, activities, school deadlines, and social engagements.
  3. • Collaborate seamlessly with the children’s nanny and driver to ensure all logistical aspects of the children’s schedules are flawlessly executed.
