Private Label Buyer – ERC International Human Resources Consultancies

Objective:

 To ensure ideal brand positioning in terms of product offering to the target profile, and achieve gross margin target with healthy sell through of 60%. 

Key Responsibilities:

Product Range:

● Develop brand strategy for understanding target customers and brand position in the market.

● Planning each category based on performance, potential & trends.

● Establish purchase strategy for each season based on historic data/reports presented by planning team.

● Deep dive into grading of stores based on country, elite fashion stores or economical stores.

● Analyze and develop procurement strategy for seasonal sale on the grounds of historic performance of products.

● Generate pricing plan based on perceptive pricing and competitive intelligence

● Procure directly from the principle

Order Management:

● Generate procurement orders timely to ensure on-time-delivery according to service level agreement and also adhere to purchase plan.

● Keep track of in-transit inventory from supplier to warehouse to ensure seamless movement to goods.

Vendor Management:

● Establish and sustain long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure fair deals.

● Ensure on-time delivery of products and adhere to compliance with the contracts of purchase.

Store Management:

● Visit stores to ensure proper store display of product categories and to understand performing and non-performing goods

● Visit competitor stores to understand bench marking, and for inspiration

● Maintain weeks of cover, monitor stock levels, and plan purchases within budget

● Coach the store staff to gather product feedback and customer feedback on basic and key offerings ensuring growth and development

Competition Knowledge:

● Stay up-to-date with local and global markets, as well as industry trends

● Be aware of competing brands and products’ activities

● Gross margin target

● Sell through target

● Exclusive and NOS Business

● Week of cover for particular category

● Stock Ageing and Stock Turn

● Trend/Buy presentation
