HR Officer – Chic Shoes

Chic, a fashion retail company, is seeking a proactive HR Officer to lead talent acquisition, foster a positive workplace culture, and align HR initiatives with the brand’s mission and strategic vision. 

Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding 

Manage the full recruitment cycle and implement onboarding programs to effectively attract, hire, and integrate new employees. 

Employee Relations & Performance Management

Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and supporting performance appraisals with management. 

HR Policy Compliance & Implementation

Ensure strict adherence to UAE labor laws and internal policies by developing, enforcing, and updating HR procedures and practices. 

Training & Development

Identify skill gaps, coordinate training programs, and maintain records to support ongoing employee development. 

Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration

Manage payroll, benefits, and attendance in coordination with the finance team, maintain accurate HR records, support audits, and handle marine and company insurance processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in HR or related roles, preferably within retail or customer-focused industries 
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, HR policies, and best practices 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism 
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively 
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Must be currently residing in the UAE
