Gymnastics Coach – FIG Level 2 Preferred (Gymnastics Academy / Youth Sports / Recreational or Compe – Black Pearl Consult

Black Pearl is recruiting a qualified and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach for a premium sports and fitness facility in Abu Dhabi.The successful candidate will deliver safe, progressive and engaging artistic gymnastics sessions for children and participants across different ages and ability levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and deliver structured artistic gymnastics lessons.Teach appropriate gymnastics techniques, movement patterns, strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.Adapt sessions according to each participant’s age, ability and development level.Create a fun, safe, positive and inclusive training environment.Support participants in improving their technique, confidence, physical fitness and performance.Monitor participant development and provide constructive feedback.Follow safeguarding, child-protection, health and safety and risk-management procedures.Maintain appropriate professional boundaries when working with children and young people.Inspect gymnastics equipment before use and report damage or safety concerns.Maintain and organise gymnastics equipment and programme supplies.Deliver at least five group lessons per working day, according to the approved schedule.Support internal and external competitions, showcases and recreational events.Assist with organising gymnastics activities at least once per quarter.Promote the gymnastics programme within the facility, local schools and the wider community.Build positive relationships with participants, parents and colleagues.Communicate participant progress and programme information professionally.Support holiday camps, workshops, promotional activities and community events.Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and programme records.Participate in coach education and continuing professional development.RequirementsTo  be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:Nationally or internationally recognised gymnastics coaching qualification.At least two years of professional experience as a Gymnastics Coach or Trainer.Experience coaching participants of different ages and ability levels.Good knowledge of gymnastics techniques, lesson planning and safe coaching practices.Understanding of safeguarding and child-protection responsibilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to demonstrate techniques safely and explain instructions clearly.Patient, encouraging, energetic and attentive to detail.PREFERREDFIG Level 2 Gymnastics Coaching qualification or comparable recognised certification.Valid safeguarding or child-protection certification.First Aid and CPR certification.Experience in a gymnastics academy, youth sports organisation or commercial sports facility.Experience coaching recreational and/or competitive gymnastics.Experience supporting competitions, showcases, camps or community programmes.HOW TO APPLYApply through www.blackpearlconsult.com or email your updated CV to info@blackpearlconsult.com with the subject line:Application – Gymnastics Coach – Abu DhabiPlease include details of your coaching qualifications and the age groups or competitive levels you have coached.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
