Dubai Customs to Mandate UAE Pass Digital ID for Trade Declarations
From 10 May 2026, all trade declarations on the Dubai Trade portal must be submitted using UAE Pass, Dubai Customs has announced. Companies have nine days to ensure staff hold ‘Advanced’ or ‘Qualified’ digital-ID accounts or risk being unable to lodge import or claims paperwork, signalling the government’s accelerating shift toward federated e-identity across mobility and trade services.
