Data Analyst – GTS

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with a passion for turning data into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in interpreting complex datasets, providing valuable insights that drive business decisions and strategies. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver reports that enhance operational efficiency. Your ability to communicate findings effectively will be essential in influencing stakeholders and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends and patterns that can inform business strategies.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
4. Utilize statistical methods to validate data integrity and accuracy, ensuring reliable insights.
5. Present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
6. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support various business initiatives and projects.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization tools.
8. Assist in the development of data collection processes and methodologies to enhance data quality.
9. Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and techniques.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
3. Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
4. Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, or SQL).
5. Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
8. Team player with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
9. Relevant certification in data analysis or a related field is a plus.
