Coating and Insulation Supervisor – ACC – UAE
Job Title: Coating & Insulation Supervisor
Experience Required: 8–15 Years (Oil & Gas / LNG mandatory)
Job Purpose:
To supervise, monitor, and ensure the execution of all coating and insulation activities as per project specifications, ADNOC standards, and safety requirements to achieve high-quality workmanship and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Coating Works:
[ Supervise surface preparation, blasting, painting, and coating application as per approved procedures.
[ Ensure correct use of materials, equipment, and environmental controls (humidity, temperature, DFT, WFT).
[ Verify compliance with coating specifications, ITPs, QCPs, and project drawings.
[ Conduct inspections (holiday test, adhesion test, DFT measurement) with QA/QC and client representatives.
[ Coordinate with subcontractors for daily planning and progress.
Insulation Works:
[ Supervise installation of hot, cold, acoustic, and cryogenic insulation for piping, vessels, and equipment.
[ Ensure proper cladding installation (aluminum, SS, GI) as per project standards.
[ Verify insulation materials (Foam Glass, Mineral Wool, PIR/PUR, Cellular Glass) per project requirements.
[ Inspect joints, thickness, vapor barriers, sealing, and weatherproofing.
General Responsibilities:
[ Ensure work is executed with full adherence to ADNOC HSE rules and site safety standards.
[ Prepare daily progress reports and monitor productivity.
[ Coordinate with construction team, QA/QC, planning, and client for inspections and work permits.
[ Identify material shortages, technical issues, and propose corrective actions.
[ Provide technical guidance to workforce and ensure proper manpower allocation.
Qualifications & Skills:
[ Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or related engineering field.
[ Minimum 8–15 years experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects (LNG preferred).
[ Strong knowledge of coating and insulation specifications (ADNOC / ISO / NACE standards).
[ Certification preferred: NACE Level 1/2 or BGAS.
[ Excellent understanding of P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawings.
[ Good communication and leadership skills.
