Accountant / Bookkeeper (Dubai Based)We are seeking an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper with Childcare business experience to support our UAE operations while working closely with our UK childcare, care, and professional services businesses. The role is based in Dubai and will provide financial administration, bookkeeping, reporting, and accounting support to both the UAE entity and the wider UK management team.Key Responsibilities[ Maintain accurate financial records for UAE business activities.[ Record daily financial transactions including income, expenses, transfers, and intercompany transactions.[ Process and reconcile funds received from UK group companies and clients.[ Prepare and issue invoices and monitor collections.[ Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.[ Reconcile bank accounts and payment platforms.[ Process payroll and maintain payroll records for UAE operations.[ Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cash flow summaries.[ Assist the UK finance team with bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial administration, and reporting requirements.[ Maintain organised accounting records and supporting documentation for external accountants, auditors, and regulatory authorities.[ Support VAT, corporate tax, audit, and other compliance requirements where applicable.[ Produce financial reports and provide management with financial insights and analysis.[ Maintain clear records of intercompany transactions, management fees, remittances, and allocations between UK and UAE entities.[ Assist with improving financial processes, controls, and reporting systems across the group.About the RoleThis position is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working across multiple businesses and supporting a busy management team.
