Chief Risk Officer (CRO) – Star Services
A leading bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead its Enterprise Risk Management function and ensure the Bank maintains a strong, compliant, and effective risk management framework in line with Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously enhance the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework.
- Oversee Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Market & Liquidity Risk, and Enterprise Risk Management functions.
- Monitor credit portfolio quality, credit concentration, delinquency trends, and Non-Performing Loans (NPLs).
- Ensure compliance with CBUAE regulations, Basel III/IV requirements, and internal risk policies.
- Lead stress testing, ICAAP, business continuity, disaster recovery, and recovery planning activities.
- Oversee third-party and outsourcing risk assessments.
- Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to Executive Management, the Board Risk Committee, and the Board of Directors.
- Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and enterprise-wide risk assessments.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, and other key stakeholders to strengthen the Bank’s governance framework.
