Dubai unlocks AED 1 billion relief package with fast-track residency processing

Dubai’s AED 1 billion stimulus, effective 1 April, combines three-month fee deferrals with an instruction to fast-track residence-permit and mission-visa processing to five working days. Hotels, importers and SMEs gain immediate liquidity relief, while corporates can accelerate staff mobilisations during a period of geopolitical uncertainty. Deferred costs will, however, fall due in Q3 2026.
