Countdown to Etihad Rail: UAE confirms first passenger services will roll out in 2026

Etihad Rail confirmed on 27 Jan 2026 that passenger trains will start running later this year between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah. The 200 km/h service will slash inter-city travel times, giving employers new flexibility on staff housing, commuting and ESG reporting while reducing dependence on short-haul flights and highways.
