A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Head of HSE to lead and oversee health, safety, and environmental strategies across major infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating operational risks on high-value construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and systems across all infrastructure projects
- Lead site audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to UAE regulatory and international standards
- Coordinate with project and construction teams to promote safe work practices and proactive risk management
- Conduct regular HSE training and awareness programs for site personnel and subcontractors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certifications required
- Minimum 12–15 years of HSE experience in large-scale infrastructure or civil construction projects in the GCC
- Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach and strong communication abilities
