Job Description:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both international and local suppliers
- Identify stock movements and analyse sales trends with support of sales and logistics team.
- Import: Negotiate prices, lead-times with local and international supplier. Follow up on shipment costs and schedules, clearance until arrival of goods; Export: in GCC markets, custom regulations, ensuring compliance with specific rules.
- Run price analysis, inventory ageing analysis, reporting, competitor positioning for new product launches and monthly MIS reports.
- Develop network of new vendors to meet company price and quality requirements and support team members to deliver a consistent premium standard of customer care
