Qualification: Graduate

Experience: Min. 2 – 4 years in UAE

Roles & Responsibility

For a group of companies (Management and trading divisions), we are looking to expand our team with a very ambitious person supporting the warehouse team. The responsibilities include overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow, maintaining accurate inventory records, following safety and cleanliness procedures and leading the warehouse team to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

o Warehouse Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, optimizing space utilization and workflow
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems
  • Ensure proper material flow in and out of warehouse facilities
  • Maintain accurate GRN (Goods Received Note) and DO (Delivery Order) records

o Stock Location Management

  • Develop and implement an efficient warehouse layout and location system
  • Ensure all inventory is properly labeled and stored in designated locations
  • Maintain a systematic approach to stock placement for optimal space utilization
  • Conduct regular location audits to ensure proper stock placement

o Inventory Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive stock reports for management review
  • Generate regular inventory status reports including stock levels, aging, and valuation
  • Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory for potential action
  • Analyze inventory data to recommend improvements to stock holding policies

o Quality Assurance & Quality Control

  • Implement and follow QAQC procedures for all incoming and outgoing materials
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and quality standards
  • Verify that all materials meet specifications and quality requirements

o Team Leadership

  • Manage, train, and develop warehouse staff
  • Schedule work assignments to maximize efficiency and meet operational demands
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching as needed

o Safety & Compliance

  • Follow and implement safety procedures throughout warehouse operations
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular safety training and emergency response drills

o Logistics Coordination

  • Manage deliveries effectively, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of materials
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to optimize delivery schedules
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies and delivery issues promptly

o Commercial Collaboration

  • Coordinate with commercial team regarding inventory levels and material requirements
  • Provide regular reports on stock status, material movements, and warehouse KPIs
  • Support the procurement process with accurate inventory information

Qualifications

  • Bachelo’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or similar role
  • Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software
  • Knowledge of QAQC procedures and inventory control best practices
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with valves and related equipment (advantageous)
