Senior Sales Engineer

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to drive sales growth and enhance customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide customized solutions.
  2. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  3. Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies and proposals.
  4. Provide technical support and training to clients post-sale to ensure product satisfaction.
  5. Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and industry trends.
  6. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  7. Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products and network with potential clients.
  8. Work closely with the product development team to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
  9. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and sales materials.
  10. Continuously update knowledge of industry developments and competitor offerings.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in a technical sales position within Oil & Gas industry.
  2. Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  6. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  8. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  9. Relevant technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
  10. Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
