Description
Oversee the construction of high-rise buildings and hotel projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality control processes.Manage the day-to-day operations at the project site, ensuring the efficient coordination of resources, contractors, and subcontractors.Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related technical issues and liaise with architects, contractors, and consultants.Provide technical direction and supervision to the engineering team on-site.Ensure that all construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, addressing potential delays or issues on time.Review and approve material and equipment submittals, shop drawings, and other technical documents.Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to junior engineers and site staff.
Profile
A successful Senior Resident Engineer should have:
Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, including 5+ years in Dubai.Proven experience with high-rise buildings (30+ floors) and hotel construction projects in Dubai or similar environments.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).A Dubai Engineer license is required (Unlimited License).Strong understanding of local construction codes, regulations, and safety standards in Dubai.Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines without compromising quality
