Security Supervisor

The Security Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of the entire Facility (Site) of the organization based in Dubai. This position is responsible for overseeing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. As a Security Supervisor, you will be instrumental in fostering a secure environment that protects assets, personnel, and information.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage security staff to ensure effective performance and adherence to protocols.
2. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
3. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and personnel.
4. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a rapid response to incidents.
5. Provide training and guidance to security personnel on best practices and emergency response procedures.
6. Monitor surveillance systems and security equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.
7. Investigate security breaches and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
8. Prepare and present security reports to management, outlining risks and mitigation strategies.
9. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to security operations.
10. Foster a culture of safety and security awareness among all employees.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience in security management in Logistics & Supply Chain industries or related industries background.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
6. Knowledge of security systems and technology.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
8. Certifications in security management or related fields are a plus.
9. Proficiency in conflict resolution and crisis management.
10. Commitment to continuous professional development in security practices.
11. Previous experience of serving National Services (Ex-Servicemen) in home country will be an added advantage.
