SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant – Black Pearl Consult
Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant in the UAE to support a significant SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation programme, providing functional expertise across SAP Finance and business process transformation.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an SAP Finance specialist who enjoys working across business process design, SAP configuration, testing, integration and implementation governance.
You will operate at both the functional and project-governance level, working closely with Finance leadership, IT teams, SAP specialists and the implementation partner to help deliver a robust, scalable SAP Finance solution.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support the full SAP Finance implementation lifecycle, from discovery and process assessment through configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
Lead and contribute to fit-to-standard workshops, requirements clarification and solution design.
Configure and validate SAP S/4HANA Finance functionality while ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
Review solution designs, configuration and deliverables produced by the implementation partner and provide constructive technical and functional challenge where required.
Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, IT and business process owners to translate operational requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Support data migration, reconciliation, integration testing, UAT, cutover and go-live activities.
Investigate defects and functional issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
Contribute to Finance master data, controls, security, audit and compliance requirements.
Support integrations between Finance and other business areas, including Procurement, Sales, HR/Payroll and third-party applications.
Assist with UAE VAT, e-invoicing and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable.
Provide knowledge transfer, documentation and post-go-live support to internal teams.
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
5+ years of relevant SAP Finance experience.
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Relevant SAP certifications in S/4HANA Cloud, Financial Accounting, SAP BTP or SAP architecture will be advantageous.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration and implementation.
Experience delivering at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is highly desirable.
Practical experience across workshops, configuration, testing, defect management, migration, cutover and hypercare.
UAE VAT and wider GCC finance experience will be advantageous.
