The assistant needs to be comfortable interfacing with customers and have a thorough understanding of retail sales dynamics, particularly in fast-moving stock environments. Physical fitness is important as the role requires standing for long hours and lifting stock. Being confident, helpful, and polite are key attributes for thriving in this role.
