Resident Engineer – Electrical (33/11 kV brick-built primary substations – WSP
WSP Middle East is seeking a dynamic Resident Engineer Electrical will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects within the ADDC or AADC domain. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are executed according to specifications, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
WSP is looking for a Principal Resident Engineer who is accountable for the operational performance, technical and people leadership of the project supervision team and electrical power network team projects for WSP in UAE and beyond
Responsibilities
- Define Electrical Engineering strategies and undertake feasibility works across numerous project types in UAE
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
- Undertake project documentation reviews and checking in accordance with QA procedures
- Lead the project and undertake line manager responsibility for the project supervision team
- Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies
- Ensure the right resources are utilized effectively at the right time in projects Including engaging with the Complimentary Resource Centers (CRCs) to ensure that communication and design and review processes are continually improved and achieve required targets with expected quality.
