R&D Product Manager – Automotive – RTC1 Recruitment Services
-Lead the formulation and enhancement of automotive coatings (e.g., primers, basecoats, clearcoats) for OEM and refinish markets, ensuring high performance, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
-Oversee laboratory and field testing (e.g., durability, corrosion resistance, weathering) aligned with ASTM, ISO, and customer standards, and manage technical documentation and pilot trials.
-Coordinate with sales, production, QA/QC, and customers to ensure successful scale-up, address complaints, provide technical support, and tailor products to market needs.
-Manage R&D projects, ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations (e.g., REACH, VOC), document all processes accurately, and mentor junior staff on formulation and testing practices.
