R&D Chemist – Coil Coating – RTC1 Recruitment Services

Job Description:

• Conduct testing and analysis of raw materials, sample products, and finished coatings, including thickness, viscosity, adhesion, penetration, durability, and benchmarking against market standards; document and report results to support product development.
• Lead and support new product development, method validation, and process optimization in coil coating, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal SOPs.
• Maintain lab safety, enforce HSE protocols, and collaborate effectively with production, R&D, and third-party teams to drive quality and innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field, 3+ years laboratory experience (preferably in coatings), strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
