QUALITY CONTROL CHEMIST – Pearl Polyurethane Systems

Job Role:

To conduct analysis of finish product, in-process as well as raw material samples. Specially titrations to estimate OH, NCO, Acid value, Moisture content. To attend lab synthesis batches of polyester & prepolymer. To support R&D supervisor on formulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical testing of finished goods, in process, RM samples received from

production & communicate the results to production team for further actions.

• Preparation of stock solutions & calibration of instruments.

• Perform development activities for new product by supporting to lab batches.

• Update, add & document the QC manual, R&D team SOP and local procedures.

• Report all analysis results, observations and feedback to the Head of Laboratory

and/or Head of R&D

• Cleaning the workplace following weekly 5S routine activities

• Cleaning and maintenance of all lab and technical centre equipment.

• Sourcing required raw material, equipment and tools for daily activities

• Strictly adhering to safety rules and Pearl HSEQ policy
