Quality Assurance Engineer – TASC Outsourcing
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated entry-level Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the software development lifecycle by designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of our products. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
- Execute manual test cases and report defects with clear steps to reproduce
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Track and verify defect fixes and perform regression testing
- Document test results and provide feedback to improve product quality
Required Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing or related field
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processes
- Hardworking with strong attention to detail and quality
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Odia for effective communication
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium)
- Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of quality assurance best practices and standards (e.g., ISTQB Foundation level)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork orientation
