Product Designer
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Product Designer who can bring fresh ideas to the business while improving and enhancing the existing product range.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing physical products for established consumer brands and be able to take ideas from initial concept through to final design and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing products and suggest ways to improve or refresh their design.
- Develop creative concepts and ideas for new products.
- Research product and consumer trends and identify new design opportunities.
- Develop products from initial concept through to final design.
- Explore materials, finishes, shapes, functionality, and other design elements.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams on samples, prototypes, and product development.
- Present product concepts, sketches, and design ideas to management.
- Ensure products are attractive, practical, commercially relevant, and aligned with the brand.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Product Design, ideally with established consumer brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing and developing physical products.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, product trends, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking with the ability to consistently bring fresh product ideas.
- Experience working with suppliers and developing samples or prototypes.
- Experience taking physical products from concept through to final development.
