Process Manager – Lactic Acid – Black & Grey HR

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading manufacturing company based out of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is looking to hire a<b> Process Manager (LA)</b> who will be responsible to to lead the production, process optimization, and scaling of our bio polymer manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for ensuring product quality, enhancing efficiency, and driving cost-effective production of Lactic Acid (LA) and related bio polymers.<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> – Production & Process Management: Oversee all production activities, ensuring high product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety protocols.- Process Optimization: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production processes. Implement continuous improvement methodologies to enhance yield, reduce cost, and improve product quality.- Technology & Scale-Up: Lead the scaling-up of bio polymer production from pilot to commercial scale. Manage technology selection and sign off on critical technical documentation.- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on polymer chemistry, LA production methods (direct poly condensation and ring-opening polymerization), and bio process engineering.- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all processes and products meet relevant industry standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, ASTM) and internal quality specifications.- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and coach a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.- Documentation: Interpret and utilize PFDs and P&IDs to maintain optimal process parameters. Document processes, findings, and improvements for industrial use.Requirements- 15 years of experience in the polymer industry, with at least 5 years in a technology or process leadership role at a reputed bio polymer manufacturer. – Must have hands-on experience executing projects and operating a plant manufacturing Lactic Acid (LA).- Deep technical expertise in polymer chemistry, bio process engineering, and LA production methodologies.- Proven track record in scaling up production, improving process efficiency, and resolving complex production issues.- Strong understanding of process safety protocols and regulations specific to LA production and handling.- Proficiency in reading and interpreting PFDs, P&IDs, and control systems.- Excellent problem-solving, team-building, and cross-departmental coordination skills.Benefits- Attractive compensation packageReady to optimize the future of sustainable manufacturing?
