Planning Engineer – WSA

1.      Project Planning and Scheduling

·       Assist the OD with consolidated Schedules and other project reporting metrics as applicable , including Cost spent , Earned value etc.

·       Collaborate with architects, design managers, and project managers to develop project plans and schedules for architectural projects.

·       Conduct feasibility studies and analyse project requirements to determine realistic timelines and resource allocation.

·       Create detailed project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, using project management software.

·       Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and identifying potential delays or bottlenecks.

·       Identify and mitigate risks and develop contingency plans to ensure timely project completion.

·       Collaborate with the design team to integrate design milestones and deliverables into the overall project schedule.

·       Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, discuss potential issues, and make necessary adjustments to the schedule.

·       Generate reports and present project status updates to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and deviations from the schedule.

·       Provide input on resource allocation and identify opportunities to optimize efficiency in project planning and execution.

·       Utilize project management methodologies and tools to streamline project planning processes and enhance overall project efficiency.

2.     Collaboration and Stakeholder Coordination

·       Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to obtain necessary project information and ensure alignment with project timelines.

·       Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and resources as per the project schedule.

·       Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members to ensure seamless project execution.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate project planning with other project aspects, such as design and construction.

3.     Risk Management and Process Improvement

·       Identify and mitigate risks and develop contingency plans to ensure timely project completion.

·       Support senior project management professionals in project timeline coordination, management, and reporting.

·       Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve project planning processes.

·       Provide technical expertise and guidance on project planning and scheduling matters to other team members.

·       Participate in project review meetings to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements.

4.     Industry and Software Knowledge

·       Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to project planning and scheduling in the architectural field.

·       Stay updated with advancements in project management software and tools relevant to the architectural field.

·       This segregation groups tasks logically under broader functional categories.
