Job Description:
- Oversee daily operations within the team – order processing, inventory tracking, shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, ASNs, pick slips)
- Utilize shipping/ERP software to monitor, track, and optimize shipping workflows
- Negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and manage cost-effective shipping rates
- Manage, train, and supervise department staff; foster efficient workflows and collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, purchasing, customs) to streamline order flow and resolve issues
