Operations Executive – UFS Cargo and Clearing DMCC

The Operations Executive is a pivotal role within the distribution, supply chain, and logistics industry, particularly in Dubai. The Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing import and export processes, managing air and sea shipments, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. This role requires effective communication with service providers and customers to provide timely updates and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the import and export of goods via air and sea shipments.
2. Ensure compliance with customs formalities and regulations for all shipments.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping line and airline import/export procedures.
4. Coordinate with service providers to obtain timely updates on shipment status.
5. Communicate updates and information to customers regarding their shipments.
6. Assist in preparing and processing shipping documentation and customs paperwork.
7. Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or issues promptly.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
9. Conduct regular audits of shipping processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
10. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
