Summary
We’re seeking a highly organised Operations Coordinator to join a leading maritime team in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. This role is ideal for experienced professionals in STS operations or port logistics who thrive on precision, safety, and coordination. You’ll be at the centre of planning and executing Ship-to-Ship transfer operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and stakeholder alignment.

Client Overview
Our client operates at the forefront of marine and logistics operations, delivering safe, compliant, and efficient services to global shipping stakeholders across Fujairah and the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate STS operation schedules, including vessel nominations, Mooring Master assignments, and support craft mobilisation
• Prepare Joint Plans of Operation, risk assessments, and pre-transfer checklists for STS activities
• Liaise with vessel owners, charterers, agents, and port authorities to confirm compatibility and schedules
• Coordinate operational communications and notifications with UAE authorities and regulatory bodies
• Monitor certification and inspection of key STS equipment such as fenders, hoses, and mooring gear
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and quality-controlled reporting
• Support post-operation reporting, including incident and near-miss records
• Assist with troubleshooting and provide on-call support on a rotational basis
• Contribute to continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and compliance

Must-have Requirements

• Degree, diploma, or technical qualification in Maritime Studies, Nautical Sciences, Port Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in STS operations, port operations, tanker operations, offshore support, or agency services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple operations
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice-to-have Skills

• Knowledge of STS procedures, OCIMF guidelines, and industry best practices
• Familiarity with UAE maritime regulations and Fujairah operational environment
