Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical Focus)
Department: Commercial / Pre-contract
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor with a mechanical specialization to support our tendering and pre-contract activities. You will be responsible for quantifying mechanical works, pricing bills of quantities, and ensuring clarity of scope during the tender stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study tender drawings, specifications, and related documents.
- Define and clarify the scope of mechanical works.
- Perform quantity take-off for mechanical services based on tender drawings.
- Prepare and price Bills of Quantities (BOQ) under the guidance of the Tender Manager.
- Assist in compiling cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams as required.
Education:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Major:
- Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, preferably within the UAE/GCC construction industry.
- Proven experience in tender analysis, quantity take-off, and BOQ pricing for mechanical systems.
Professional Certifications:
- Not mandatory, but any relevant certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) will be an advantage.
Language & Computer Skills:
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
