Mechanical Project Engineer – National Projects & Construction LLC

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of mechanical engineering projects within the business support services sector. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all phases of mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
2. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure successful project execution.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
4. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Ensure that all mechanical systems are designed and installed in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures within projects.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
9. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. Proven experience in mechanical project engineering, preferably within the business support services sector.
3. Strong understanding of mechanical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
7. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
8. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Familiarity with relevant software tools, including CAD and project management software.
