Lab Associate – ManpowerGroup Middle East
We are looking for Lab Associate – Weights & Measures, who will perform a variety of critical tasks within the Lab Operations department to support the accurate and timely completion of gem grading services. You will be responsible for executing multiple pre- and post-grading production processes including Weights & Measures, Lab Inscription, Inventory Control, Report Services, and Lab Transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Weights & Measures
- Accurately measure stone weight, proportions, and other required data using specialized equipment.
- Prepare stones for subsequent grading processes as per standard procedures.
- Analyze stone proportions and generate accurate records.
- Operate devices such as colorimeters and fluorescence measurement tools to evaluate gem characteristics.
Lab Inscription
- Perform stone inscription using specialized equipment, ensuring all markings are accurate and per customer requirements.
- Carry out inscription support activities such as inking, cleaning, image capture, and verification.
Lab Inventory Control
- Facilitate the distribution of stones across production functions to maintain smooth workflow.
- Monitor stone workflow status and resolve issues that may disrupt processes.
- Perform physical and electronic reconciliation of lab inventory as per SOPs.
- Execute vault opening/closing procedures and organize stones efficiently for retrieval and processing.
Lab Report Processing
- Prepare and verify client reports once grading services are completed.
- Coordinate with Customer Service for timely report scheduling and printing.
- Ensure correct pairing of stones with their respective reports and manage final workflow distribution.
- Maintain and troubleshoot printing equipment as required.
